New York – 10 June 2019 At the margins of the Security Council debate of the work of UNMIK, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić, had a bilateral meeting with Ambassador M.A. Al-Otaibi, Permanent Representative of Kuwait and the President of the Security Council for the month of June. First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dačić reiterated that Serbia remains committed to the solution of the question of Kosovo and Metohija through dialogue and compromise. He also advised of the readiness of Belgrade to work towards strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of mutual interest. Ambassador Al-Otaibi pointed out that Kuwait supports the dialogue between Belgrade and Priština and assessed that time and patience are needed for achieving a political solution. He confirmed Kuwait’s interest in promoting bilateral relations.
